aqua shino bowl
this small bowl is a one-of-a-kind piece. the glaze is not commercially available, and the color variations occurred in the kiln and are not replicable.
this bowl has an orange shino exterior, accented with vivid flashes. the interior of the bowl is a glossy, aqua blue. the white patches on the exterior of the bowl are a result of "flashing." flashing is a phenomenon in the pottery world that refers to the varying colors and effects on the surface of a ceramic piece, which result from the unique conditions inside the kiln during the firing process.
due to the unique nature of this piece, this is the only one that will be available, and I cannot accept requests for duplicates.
